| When receiving quotes from Mico movers, call the Better Business Bureau and find out what kinds of complaints have been issued against that company and were they satisfactorily settled or not settled at all. Once you have done that then decide on the company that will give you the least problems. |

| Make sure you provide the Mico mover with your destination contact information. Take down any information the driver can provide such as his cell phone, pager and satellite tracking information. Ask the driver if your shipment is the last he/she will be loading. Find out when the last shipment goes onto the trailer. This will give you an indication as to when they will be departing for your new home. Ask the driver about his/her plans for delivering your items. Find out as many details as you can prior to the driver leaving your residence. |

| There are two types of estimates you could receive from your Mico mover. The two types are Binding/Non-Binding Estimate: A binding estimate is an agreement with the mover made in advance of the move. A non-binding estimate is the carrier's approximation of the cost based on the estimated weight of the shipment and the accessorial services requested. |

| In some cases a Mico mover may speak with you about Accessorial (Additional) Services. These are services such as packing, appliance servicing or unpacking that you request to be performed (or are necessary because of landlord requirements or other special circumstances). Charges for these services are in addition to the transportation charges. |

| Ask your Mico mover if your things are going to be the only ones on the moving van. There are times that the moving companies put two or three families together that are going to the same destination. It might cost more to have the van all to yourself, but it’s worth it. You minimize the chances of getting other peoples things and loosing yours. |

| Before the Mico mover leaves, make sure you understand all the paperwork before the driver departs for your new apartment. If there is something that is confusing to you, ask your driver to explain it before you sign it. |
