| The day before the Stockdale movers come, pack each plant in an appropriate sized moving box. However, first of all give them a good drink of water, put them in a black trash bag sealed tight, then in the box. Be sure and seal the box. Write "LIVE PLANT" on the outside with arrows pointing upright. If you have a good mover, they will load these last. The larger greenery needs to go in a dishpack, and you probably will not be able to close the box, but still follow the steps, and make some type of plastic cover over these. What happens is they create their own mini environment, and can survive up to a week in these boxes. |

| When taking inventory please make an estimate of value to tell your Stockdale mover. A Valuation is the degree of "worth" of the shipment. The valuation charge compensates the mover for assuming a greater degree of liability than that provided for in the base transportation charges. |

| In some cases a Stockdale mover may speak with you about Accessorial (Additional) Services. These are services such as packing, appliance servicing or unpacking that you request to be performed (or are necessary because of landlord requirements or other special circumstances). Charges for these services are in addition to the transportation charges. |

| Your Stockdale mover may discuss Advanced Charges: These charges are for services not performed by the mover but instead by a professional, craftsman or other third party at your request. The charges for these services are paid for by the mover and added to your bill of lading charges. |

| Stockdale movers will charge a Warehouse Handling fee if you have to use their temporary warehouse space. This is an additional charge applicable each time temporary space is provided. This charge compensates the mover for the physical placement and removal of items within the warehouse. |

| If you are going to have friends or family help in the moving process, line these people up ahead of time, as people need time to 'fit' your moving day into their day. Have someone on standby, as people get sick. Have your Stockdale movers ordered as far in advance as possible. |

| When moving plan ahead as much as possible. I do not mean the week ahead, but months in advance. Arrange for Stockdale movers and and help. Furthermore, take into consideration the time of the move. For instance, try not to move to the upper midwest during January and avoid the south in the middle of August. Just a little common sense. |
