| You should receive a Bill of Lading from your SeaTac mover. This is the receipt for your goods and the contract for their transportation. It is your responsibility to understand the bill of lading before you sign it. If you do not agree with something on the bill of lading, do not sign it until you are satisfied that it is correct. The bill of lading is an important document. Don't lose or misplace your copy. |

| Your SeaTac mover will have you sign an Order for Service. This is the document authorizing the mover to transport your household goods. |

| When moving plan ahead as much as possible. I do not mean the week ahead, but months in advance. Arrange for SeaTac movers and and help. Furthermore, take into consideration the time of the move. For instance, try not to move to the upper midwest during January and avoid the south in the middle of August. Just a little common sense. |

| Reserve a Parking Space for the SeaTac movers truck. If you live in a congested area, recruit some friends and park all of your vehicles one after another in a space close to your home and do not move them until the truck arrives. The closer the truck can get to your house, the better your chances are of not incurring an additional charge. |

| Take one last sweep of the house before the SeaTac mover leaves. Look through all closets, shelves, in the garage, attic, crawl space, storage unit, under the stairs, on the walls and any place else things may be hiding. You do not want to find out, after the movers have left, that something was left behind. |

| When receiving quotes from SeaTac movers, call the Better Business Bureau and find out what kinds of complaints have been issued against that company and were they satisfactorily settled or not settled at all. Once you have done that then decide on the company that will give you the least problems. |

| SeaTac movers will charge a Warehouse Handling fee if you have to use their temporary warehouse space. This is an additional charge applicable each time temporary space is provided. This charge compensates the mover for the physical placement and removal of items within the warehouse. |
